Generally you should expect planning to take 4-6 months. If you are in an HOA that needs to approve things, that part can take anywhere from 2-6 months depending on the review committee we are working with. The construction can take from 12 to 18 months depending on the complexity of your design and weather conditions. This brings the timing to somewhere around 24 months for a completely custom home. Don’t confuse this process with production builders that only let you customize a few select things.

While the easiest way is to have everything predetermined at the design phase, we realize that is hardly ever the way it happens. We will do our best to accommodate things as they progress.  Most changes will result in added charges but sometimes things do generate credits back to the owner.
